Poor quality. It doesnt stick to my packages. Very thin.

Tape works for what we needed, but kept ripping and we’d have to stop and find the ends. Very thin tap. Worked fine for our packing boxes.

Its tape, it sticks, it seals boxes, what more is there to say?

I just finished up a six pack of Duck brand Easy Start tape. In coming to this, it feels like Ive gone from padded two-ply, so scratchy single ply. You know what Im talking about.... What this means is that the tape is difficult to wrangle, it will stick to itself in the blink of an eye, even when youre trying to be careful with it. Which is reaallly annoying. Overall, this is finicky and cheap feeling. I wont be buying it again. *** EDIT *** After five months Ive come to feel a little better about this tape. Its still finicky, but it works decently if you are careful with it. In some ways its not a bad option as you get more on a roll which is better value and better for the environment. Im sure some will still hate it, but it is definitely usable. Upgrading my review from two stars to four.

I have bought this brand before. The gorilla tape and other types were useful. I was happy when I thought I was getting a good deal on packing tape. My experience with packing tape is having a quality tape that is durable and sturdy. This item was extra large scotch tape. Actually scotch tape might have been sturdier. The tape didnt stick very well. It is not strong enough to use for packages, gifts or temporarily fixing a screen or affixing a note to the door. I am not sure what function this tape has. I was happy to have the option to return the item.

It works like tape but its so thin youll probably waste most of it. I know I did.

I occasionally do a house purge and sell old items and failed hobbies on eBay. This tape is strong, sticks packaging closed (anything from cardboard boxes to plastic), and has not failed me yet after sending 16 packages over the past two months. I’m sure I could gripe about the price, but who couldn’t these days!

Adhesion:. If you like to play the guessing game of will the contents of this box stay inside before I get it to its destination, then this is the tape for you! Two hours after using the tape and loading the (small, medium, or large) boxes with anything from blankets to bottles of wine, all the tape is no longer sticking to the bottom, sides, or top. (who needs that, right?). Value for money:. Should your goal be to have a great excuse for replacing items in any box, again, this is your lucky day! With the tape that barely sticks, if you want newA/V receivers, pictures, crock pots, glassware, dishes, video game consoles, and now.....USE THIS TAPE!! Youre almost 100% guaranteed to go buy new items when this tape detaches from the sides and bottom!! Easy to use:. Ive packed and mixed more times that I care to. However the only thing with that this tape on boxes, would be to use a sheet of self adhesive stamps. It folds on itself constantly. It pulls apart too easily. And its super easy to twist sideways when using a tape gun. (I have other tape rolls/brands I used before and after this brand, and I dont experience this issue with them. So Id like to believe its less user issues, and more quality issues). All in all, if your goal is to have broken items you no longer care for, and love to play did we sweep/vacuum up all the little glass pieces, while walking barefoot in the dark, go nuts and get a case of this stuff! However, if thats not your goal, save your money, time, frustration, anger, and unnecessary shopping trips, and buy better brands.

It is good tape, I would buy it again, but a couple of times it has not come off the roll right such that it tapers at the roll end and I have to cut it off, pick the sliver up, unwind it to where it meets the cut bit, then try to get them to come up in sync so it stops splitting. Most of the time it works as it should.

I am a big fan of Duck brand tapes. I have found the quality as good as 3M but I get a lot more product for less money. Ive been using their light duty carpet tape and heavy duty packing tape and decided to give this a try. It seems to have the same acrylic adhesive as the heavy duty tape but the plastic is thinner. Ive only used it for attaching shipping labels and small packages so far but it holds great. When you read complaints about it not sticking be mindful that some times its the box. For example, I have found that no tape will stick to a Home Depot box but tape sticks really well to Lowes boxes and USPS boxes.
