> 3 dayIve bought these in store before and had breakage problems and the dove company refunded my purchase. I thought it would be more convenient to buy on Amazon but. . . What is this??? It doesnt smell like the cumber and green tea scent but of tortilla chips and it was in a light pink tint shade which I havent seen for but the white and green tint for this scent of deodorant in particular!

> 3 dayI absolutely love the concept of this. As other reviewers pointed out, I initially had some difficulty locating the kit to try the refills in. Once I did, I was able to finally review this appropriately. The base is nice and very heavy and will last forever. However, the refills are another story. They are rather expensive and also difficult to find. The scent is wonderful when you first put it on. I just love anything with coconut! And usually jasmine as well, as a general rule. But it does not control body odor at all. I am not very active and do not sweat all that much, and I find that I need to reapply it by the end of the night. Surely deodorant should last more than 12 hours in mostly indoor, air conditioning settings? Ive not yet noticed the breaking of the refill sticks that others have commented on, but I can definitely see where that can be an issue since there is nothing there to support the refill other than the base the refill is sitting on. Its not really much support at all. Its a great idea. One I would LOVE to get behind and support. But due to lack of availability, price, and lack of basic body odor control, this is probably not something I would purchase again.

Greater than one weekThe whole deodorant bar just breaks off from the dispenser. Total waste of money.

> 3 dayI already left a review for the kit itself so I’m going to say about the same things here. The refillable kit is great in theory and probably just needs some fixes after this flip of a product. I’m glad companies are figuring out and innovating with new ideas to be more eco friendly and reduce our plastic waste. This product didn’t hit the mark though. About a week into use with the refillable kit the deodorant broke off the base and was no longer usable. I had been keeping it in my bag as well and the lid wouldn’t stay on and I knew it would eventually get ruined by all the junk I keep in there. I started using it in the mornings at home and after a couple days is when the deodorant broke off the base. Once that happens it’s garbage and the refills are not cheap. The refill prices are more than the cost of probably 10 stick deodorants, which makes it hard to want to be eco friendly in that aspect. Hopefully they go back to the drawing board and come up with a better idea that follows the same concept

> 3 dayI use Dove deodorant and was happy to see some natural, aluminum free offerings. The idea of a refillable deodorant to reduce plastic waste intrigued me so I thought I’d give it a shot. The smell is nice initially, but I don’t find that it masks odor well long term. I’m not a super sweaty person am not that active from day to day, but this deodorant couldn’t even keep up with my fairly sedentary activity. The design itself is where the flaw lies- the bar snaps off almost immediately. It has no support, so nothing to keep it secure. Pops off rendering it useless (unless you want to lather it on with your hands like a bar of soap). Good concept, but poor execution. Unfortunately I ordered this refill at the same time I ordered the “base” so now I have two refills I cannot use because they won’t stay put.
