> 3 dayFor a small dehumidifier thats very affordable, Im shocked with how well it works! I have it in my bathroom to remove excess moisture as I have no exhaust fan and it works perfectly.

> 3 dayThere were two consecutive nights in September that were perfectly cool and breezy. It’s not often that the evening is just right to open all the windows and let the night air in. I did notice it was humid but not at all hot or even warm. So all the windows were opened up and the whole house exhaust fan turned on to really pull in that cool air. For two mornings the fog was pea soup. Still didn’t occur for me to think about those floors and the air being so moisture-laden you could wring it out. We could feel the new floors cupping, crowning and bowing! Pure panic set in. I quickly ordered this great little dehumidifier and it did its job. Sucking the moisture out of the bedroom floors. It’s been several weeks and it is still extracting moisture. It has diminished over time and the floors are still a trifle out of sorts but vastly improved! The room is about 300 sq feet and I have moved the unit a few times to help evenly remove the humidity. Not sure if that helped but it certainly didn’t hurt. The unit has a gentle hum which isn’t the least unpleasant. It looks nice and is relatively unobtrusive. Easy to empty.

> 3 dayGeneral Thoughts Received the unit back on July 26, of this year, so at time of writing, Ive had this for 2 months pretty much. Overall this dehumidifier gets its job done as it advertises -- I keep it in my owners suite and it has helped yank moisture out of the air from the connected bathroom. Its a cleanly designed unit that is easy to operate. Its helped deal with some of the heat and humidity in the southern US, especially since I didnt have a whole-home dehumidifier to start. Pros: - Dual-speed for quiet mode is nice. - Light can be turned off, otherwise its a nice little RGB-ish glow. - Simple buttons - Water container is large enough to not need emptying so frequently. - Auto-stop for emptying is very obvious (flashing red lights) Cons: (These are more-so nit-picks) - No persistence with settings. Every time you turn it on you have to press the other buttons to switch off the light or enter low-noise mode. - Lack of a switch (versus a one-press button) means you cant plug it into a smart home plug to turn it on/off remotely if you desire.

> 3 dayThis is the best buy for a small space (closet or bathroom) dehumidifier. It works very well and is very, very quiet. We live in deep East Texas, so it is very humid here. I am dumping the reservoir once a week. It turns itself off when full, so no chance of a mess because of overflow. I would highly recommend purchasing this.

> 3 dayI love how simple this dehumidifier is and love how the color turns red to let you know when to empty the container. It has worked great for our basement so far, definitely recommend!!

> 3 dayThis unit replaces a RainyB unit that died. This MAKAYLA unit does a wonderful job, better than the unit it replaces. We use it in a 37 foot travel trailer to keep down the moisture in the air especially when cooking and when the AC is not on. It is used in the main part of the trailer that has a giant slide on the drivers side, and a small slide on the passenger side. I think this would be about 150 square feet (maybe a little less), and about 6ft 4 from floor to ceiling. If you know how to figure cubic feet from those figures that would be great. The unit is quiet, but not soundless. We have noticed little to no condensation on the windows in the morning, but also this is the end of February, but we do live in a humid southern state and heading for Spring here. As I write this the high today will be a humid 82 degrees. These little portable units do not have a compressor so they are unable to do zero humidity, but they do great job for what they are. I am considering purchasing a second one of these MAKAYLA units as we head into summer to use in the more forward part of the trailer which is the bedroom. My old RainyB unit displayed temperature and the moisture in the air, which I found very helpful and miss on the new unit. The new unit can light up in different colors which, imho, is just silly and useless. I am not discounting a star for this because I knew of this silly feature when I ordered the unit. Otherwise, at this time, this MAKAYLA unit is a five star product which I would buy again, and recommend to others.

> 3 dayMy daughter uses this in her room. We are in the camper. But it collects a very good amount of water. I’m very happy with what it’s doing as far as its job goes.!

> 3 dayAfter having it for some weeks I will say it has collected moisture from the air. The only problem is that I wish I would have gotten the bigger one. My room is not as big and I thought the smaller one would work better. In the mornings my walls still have a lot of moisture so the machine might need some help. The colors are so pretty and the noise is not bad at all. My advice is go bigger. :)
