Its ddr 4 ram. Not much else to ass except the speed spec and ranking which for me directly affects the speed in my AMD laptop. They shouldnt be allowed to have two skus for the same item leaving you in limbo if your worried about having dual ranking. Thats my only gripe. I bought two single options and got lucky with dual rank which actually was cheaper than the two pack. Hopefully this helps you if your in the same situation.

Purchased a 32GB stick to upgrade my 2020 Asus g14, now works perfectly with 40GB total ram - no negative performance impact, speed and timings seem to all be working well with the soldered 8GB memory.

Firstly I took the back panel off my Dell Inspiron All in One PC , removed a small metal plate which then exposed the memory slots. I identified that there was a vacant slot and noted the type and physical size of memory already fitted. I was then certain that I would purchase the correct memory. When the part arrived I fitted it and upon switch-on kept dabbing the F2 key until the BIOS settings showed. I double checked that the fitted memory equalled 16GBs. All in all a quite simple procedure to carry out.
