I have a 7 year old desktop tower that had a traditional hard drive. Ever since updating to Windows 10, the boot up was sooooooo slow. It was time to update to a solid state drive (SSD).

I installed this into a Late 2011 MacBook pro 13in. The install is simple, just about any one who can chew gum and walk could do the install. The drive itself is super light and doesnt make any sound. I cloned my old disc using SuperDuper and then installed this in my Mac. Started the Mac in recovery mode selected the new SSD disc and -BOOM- instant gratification. My mac went from a 3.5 min start up time to 15 seconds. I no longer shy away from using my computer for simple task because it works like the day I bought it.

I have three now and very happy with them.

I finally decided to get rid of my last SATA hard drive and chose this for its capacity, speed and price. Sure it is not the newest version but it is much faster than the drive it replaced. I now have two m2 and 2 SSD drives in my pc which boots oh so fast and is even more responsive.

Great value for money. Not used for gaming but load times have significantly reduced on all aspects of the Apple laptop compaired to HDD.
