I bought this so that I didnt need an add in PCI card & lose 2 SATA ports. Its fast enough for me compared to a traditional hard drive - a game changer for boot times.

I only have one thing to add to the many reviews on here. I was trying to upgrade a couple of old Acer Laptops (3100 and 5100) to SSD, and they had problems. Silicon Power and Patriot SSDs wouldnt recognize, and actually froze the BIOS screen. Kingston got past the BIOS screen, but was not recognized during installation.

E lontano dalle caratteristiche per il quale lho scelto però mi ha resuscitato un notebook AMD lentissimo. Ora i programmi si aprono velocemente ed il computer é una scheggia.

My laptop, Toshiba Satellite E205 was moderately difficult to access, but once in, the drive was easy to replace, and everything fit well. It greatly sped up and stabilized my system. It is an older laptop, but changing the storage and adding RAM has made it better than new. I had tossed it into the closet and wrote it off before, but when my desktop died, I had to do something. Its not as fast as my 6 core AMD with its double processing speed was, but for a slower dual core intel i5, Its doing great and I like using it again. Thanks Crucial!

Es un SSD fiable, ya tengo varios de esta marca y hasta ahora ningún problema con ellos. Por eso los sigo comprando y recomendado

Klein und leicht

Die SSD sollte dazu dienen, einem älteren Laptop etwas Beine zu machen, nachdem dieser mit Windows 10 und diversen Updates doch sehr langsam geworden war.
