I am using this SSD as a bootable usb drive for a raspberry pi 4 desktop. It works great. While more expensive than other SSDs such as Kingston, Crucial SSDs perform better as the storage capacity approaches 100% used.

Acheté pour remplacer un spinning hdd de 100 gb qui commençait à fatiguer sérieusement après 10 ans sur un toshiba satellite pro l300. Lallumage sur Ubuntu 18.04 (bionic beaver) se fait en 33 secondes jusquà lécran dentrée du mot de passe. Il est un peu tôt pour parler de la longévité mais les crucial sont souvent bien notés. Il faut bien sûr les optimiser sous ubuntu pour limiter les cycles décriture. Pour linstant, rien à redire.

Its easy to install, also light weight. If anyone is upgrading from HDD to SSD, will notice the difference in boot loading time, genral performance, and gaming. The OS startup and shutdown time will decrease drastically almost to 3-4 sec. The driver loading speed is also fast. In short, worth buying it to upgrade from HDD to SSD.

Great product, price, delivery for upgrading an old PC HDD. If mounting space, power and data connections allow, keep the old drive as well for added capacity and/or backups. Just upgraded an old PC from hard drive to SSD with this drive and Windows 10 boot and load times are vastly improved. A great way to breathe new life into old desktop PCs. (Dont forget to get a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter frame if that is the only mounting available in your PC. As an alternative, these small, physically light drives could probably be easily velcro-ed to any convenient, well-cooled location in the case.)
