Bought SSD, tried to install Windows for 2 days and would refuse to install. Tried converting from gpt/mbr, erasing partitions, and creating multiple instances of Windows 10 using the media creation tool and rufus. I modified multiple BIOS settings like enabling/disabling CMS, SecureBoot, etc. Tried repairing the boot record, and every time it would show OS not found when trying to boot. Ordered same exact model of the SSD, worked without an issue first try. Definitely seemed to be corrupted, either corrupted sectors or bad blocks.

I have dell n5010 laptop which is almost 10 year old model. I usually works on photoshop,coreldraw,after effect and premier pro. For that i upgraded my ram upto 8gb but it didnt make any notibale difference in performance. After so much confusion i decided to install this ssd.i installed this ssd by rrplacing my main hdd and installed that hdd in dvd drive socket. I did it by myself . Its really make my pc faster. rendering and exporting speed also improved.

Lo adquirí para remplazar el disco duro de 512GB que traía de fabrica mi viejo PS4 Slim y funcionó a la perfección, el disco es un poco más delgado que un HDD normal, pero se ajusta perfectamente al atornillarse en la bahía de soporte que tiene la consola, así que no es ningún inconveniente. La velocidad al cargar juegos es notoriamente superior ahora, aunque tampoco es demsasiada la diferencia, dadas las limitaciones de ancho de banda propias del hardware del PS4. Sin duda altamente recomendado para expandir la memoria de fabrica y mejorar un poco el rendimiento.

Drive works great as a storage if you want to drive to work as your main OS drive the MX500 would be a better option since it is only a few dollars more and have a Dram. It easy to install. If you have a pc with any intel optane application installed, you may want to disable the Link Power Option because it was only putting the drive to sleep, and I believe that was more for HDD. PC Oem tend to load the same software on different pc to match any configuration. This causes the system would hang for 15 or more seconds with 100 percent activity and 0 data transfer. Also, I notice drive was simply to cold running at 25 degrees while the nvme was in the upper 30 degrees Celsius for an operating drive which was my next clue.
