Crucial BX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-Inch Internal SSD, up to 540MB/s - CT1000BX500SSD1

Using three of these drives at the moment for my off-site backup drives. These drive’s work as advertised although transferring files I have not been able to maximize the speed it is capable of, as it seem to be very slow on my Dell laptop. Although this has improved somewhat after changing the installed drivers for updated versions in Windows and still using the USB-C port.

Plusieurs de ce modèle et cest la 1ère fois que je reçois un emballage déjà ouvert (1 scellé craqué), contenant un SSD dont le firmware nest pas à jour.

Could not figure out how to clone so just copied all needed files form dying 2.5 brick hard drive to this efficient 1TB SSD. VERY HAPPY. Files load faster now, no more clickety click noises or warnings about dying drive. Had fun smashing the old drive with sledge hammer too!

My 3 year old Dell PC was getting slower and slower, taking about 3 minutes to boot up and then ages to open websites etc. It has a decent i5 processor, so I upgraded the memory to 32Gb, but it was still not as fast as I would like. A friend suggested I replace the hard drive with an SSD. So I purchased thins one, used some free software to clone my hard drive and then installed it into the machine.

Threw this bad boy in my HP Pavilion 15 that I use when traveling. With 2TB I can keep a bunch of games ready to play with out having to download on bad hotel Wifi
