Write speeds seem normal for my wifi speed at the beginning of a download, i.e. a large game install, but later in the install, the disk usage seems to hit 100% while write speeds drop to around 30MB/s. A decent drive for extra game storage for the price. Dont use as a boot drive. My 2tb Seagate hard drive gets similar write speeds, with less usage overall.

Replaced original old HP laptop drive that I installed Windows 10 on. Used a stopwatch. Old 5200 rpm drive took 6 minutes to finish boot up.

Replaced 1tb hdd with 480gb crucial SSD, before system used to take 4 mins to load now just 5 secs.. Whenever i press on the power button i count the seconds just to make my soul happy... LOL... Coming to the product its light weight and easy to install. I have installed it in my Lenovo G50-80 laptop .. its super fast now, faster than my office laptop.. In order to make system faster PPL should replace with SSD not by increasing Ram. Happy buying ..

Tengo una IMac del 2013 y tenía un disco duro mecánico descompuesto, dudaba que funcionará, instalando el SSD de manera externa, pero funcionó en su totalidad. Encantado y súper barato.

Having downloaded the software after 9 hours it had stopped with little progress. Before sending back the drive I downloaded a free trial cloning software
