I bought this to upgrade my Synology DS220+ NAS to 10GB or RAM. It installed quickly and was recognized immediately by the NAS. Ive written 1.5TB+ to the NAS since installation and I have not had any issues. Ive read that others had issues with this RAM in the Synology but Ive been using Crucial memory for years and have not once had any issues with Crucial upgrade kits. I highly recommend it for your upgrades. One thing I will mention though is to closely watch the voltage requirements for the device you are upgrading. Only buy the kit that adheres to the same voltage needed for your device. Using RAM with higher voltage requirements would not be recommended as it can cause stability issues.

I liked that it was easy enough to install, and leaves room for further upgrading to 16GB (2 8GB modules) in the future (I installed an 8GB module before having only a 4GB module already installed)

Tagging the headline with my system spec. Upgraded my Dell Optiplex 7090 Micro i7-10700 from 16GB to 64GB. Downloaded Crucial.exe scan file from the Crucial website, at first it could not find compatible memory. Did a deeper dive on the website to find their suggestions for 100% compatible 2x32 64GB DDR4 SODIMMs. Located the model number of 100% compatible ram and found it here on Amazon. The seller...CalvinNHobbs...awesome. Delivered 4 days early by Fed Ex. As soon as I received the RAM, popped it into my system, waited for the BIOS to recognize the change in system memory and voila...works perfectly.

Crucials website has a useful tool where you can enter your model number and itll show you everything they have thats compatible with your system. I recommend using it if you are not sure of the type you need.
