I wanted to upgrade the memory on my Synology NAS, they are apparently finicky so I wanted this particular module as it is proven. I couldnt find locally so ordered from the US, arrived pretty well on time and works. Oddly is manufactured here in Malaysia but I could not find so its been 1/2 around the world twice to get to me :D

My wife and I have a budget-friendly Lenovo laptop that had been running slowly, especially when trying to edit high-resolution photos. When we updated the memory, it really gave the laptop the boost it needed. Granted, its still a budget-friendly (i.e. slow) laptop, but it can handle the photos much more smoothly, without locking up on us.

I dont know whether it was the shipping or manufacturing, but the stick I got was completely f%*#@. The gold connectors were severely damaged, and one of the modules was cracked open. Good thing I checked the back side of it before i installed, otherwise my laptop wouldve been fried and dead forever.
