Memory appears to be as advertised and was easy to install. I had no issues on startup and I am far from a computer expert. I recently purchased a dell inspiron 5000 2 in 1 laptop that came with 4 gb of memory. I really do not understand why manufactures offer machines with so little memory when i am sure memory costs them pennys on the dollar.

It is said that 8Gb of RAM is sufficient. It isnt when Firefox is running because that is a memory hog. Throw in Thinderbird and things slow down. I took the 8Gb out of my laptop, put it in my wifes extra slot, then put these two chips in mine. There was a remarkable improvement in speed and no more lag.
