Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Desktop Memory Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15)

I just want to preface this review by saying that on its own a single one of these modules 1x16 is more then enough to play high demand titles today like red dead 2, or cold war. My issue with the ram came when I decided to buy a second module of the exact same serial number and model and put it into my PC. By no means am I a novice to PC building but in my mind I thought 2 1x16 modules of the exact same speed brand and serial number would be compatible with each other regardless that they werent sold in a kit together as 2x16. THIS IS NOT TRUE AND IF YOURE THINKING ABOUT DOING IT DONT. I made the grave mistake of doing that and as soon as I took the second stick of ram out the BSODs stopped entirely. Learn from my mistake if you want 32 Gb of ram in your system buy it in a kit of 4x8, or 2x16 that is compatible and supported by the QVL for your specific motherboard. TL;DR : Dont buy two, or four CMK16GX4M1A2666C16 1x16s thinking that they will be timed and compatible with each other you will start getting memory related bluescreens.

This isnt actually 5 stars for me, but 4 is definitely too low. Easy to install, worked right out of the box. Immediately made significant difference ... buuuuuut was hoping for a little more considering how much of an upgrade from my previous RAM this was. Still, totally great unit. Recommended

No issues so far, was actually able to see immediate improvement from thw upgrade and ran games on higher settings with no issues.
