One of them stopped working

Great looking cards, and great when they work. Bought two 2x8GB packs (4x total 8GB cards). 3 out of 4 worked fine, the last one is defective. For the price I really would have expected all 4 to work.

Purchased for my son. He seems to be happy with it.

Bought this about 12 months earlier than the time of this review. It was used in a system that is considered stable by enthusiasts (with an asus sabertooth mainboard). It worked fine initially under standard conditions, i.e., without overclocking it. On occasion, the system would not boot up or freeze with the error that the mainboard failed overclocking (!). After about 8 months, the BSODs began to occur. Once in a while the system would not boot up at all or windows would display the infamous blue screen. Error messages were different every time. BSODs became more frequent about twice a day and we contacted the manufacturer, corsair.

These RAMs are one of the most value for money pair, especially during a sale that isnt some random unknown brand. My set arrived earlier than the estimate even though I am an international customer. Immaculate packaging and works flawlessly in my system. Future buyers do need to take note that it runs at a lower speed by default (2133 MHz if i remember right) but you can simply change it in your BIOS as these pair of RAMs are rated to work at 3000 MHz at 1.35 volts.

What can I say? This memory installed as it should and was immediately recognized by my system. It has performed as expected and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Upgrading is easy. Swap out your old sticks, takes 5 minutes. Worked just fine, but is a little bit expensive. With that being said, the price is justifiable for the quality.

Its RAM. Hard to mess it up. Its Fast, Its nice. It looks solid.

I purchased and installed 2 16gb sticks. Over the course of a year, I lived with windows sporadically crashing, apps crashing, chrome tabs crashing. When windows crashed, it gave Memory Management as the reason. I ran memory checks and all came back clean. After much frustration, I finally decided to try and run with 1 16gb stick at a time to determine if 1 of the 2 sticks were bad. After removing the 2nd stick, no more crashes over the course of a month. I then swapped the sticks to see if crashes came back and within 1 hour, windows crashed. I kept the bad stick in for several days and all the crashes came back. I swapped the bad with the good stick and things are back stable.
