Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) 260-Pin SO-DIMM ddr4 2400 (PC4 19200) Memory (Notebook Memory)

Popped it in to my Dell Inspiron 17R-SE running Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) & Windows 8 (64-bit), and it worked perfectly, even though Dell claims the machine wont handle 16GB of RAM. Definitely a great addition to the laptop.

I would imagine this type of RAM would work fine on a regular desktop but might have some difficulty in a server environment. Its capabilities should also be defined not only by the price points but also by the description. For example, it should indicate Desktop use only, or it should indicate Server use only, with server RAM price points visible.

Arrived as intimated. Worked after installation.

Upgraded my asus laptop a couple of months ago, no regrets at all. This memory kit works like a champ, very satisfied with this purchase.

Easy to put in hard part to back of laptop, then makes shaw bios see it look maker of laptop about this.

Purchased it to help boost the performance of a hp g62 and it performed adequately. when that laptop died I tried to transfer the set to a brand new hp pavilion 17 and it was not compatible. It was a worthwhile purchase for the initial computer but be aware it may not work in all laptops.

Product works as described, Please note the item is a kit, it performs best if both ram modules are used on the same laptop rather than using them separately.

Installed as an additional 16gb module in a Lenovo X1 Extreme. Now running dual channel. I am pleased with my purchase.
