I have used corsair vengeance for my past two builds. I dont get what is wrong this time but I have returned these once for a bad stick already and currently have another stick that went bad. I am using them with a 4770k and a Asus z97 VII Hero at stock speeds. I cant imagine it is caused by anything I have done but it is super frustrating having to rma these after the return time expires for amazon.

Overall, these memory chips worked perfectly for my computer. Alone they are fine with the upgrade to my motherboard, but it is important to research your motherboards capabilities and make adjustments if you are mixing varying speed chips into your system. I know how, but it should be highly advisable to research your upgrade parts prior to any purchases.

Installed and was up and running no problem. Make sure compatible with your motherboard

works great - have had previous sticks go bad, but Corsair has great service and warranties.

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
