Easy install.

I originally purchased an EVGA 850 GT when I purchased my 6900xt for my 5600x system. Well, when a game would load up and the graphics card was pushing hard the EVGA power supply would have a very loud coil-whine. This would happen every time and without headphones was too much to handle. I returned it and purchased this Corsair. Wow, this thing is dead silent and Ive encountered none of the issues I had previously. I will buy Corsair going forward.

i have one of these in my main system as well as my 2000$ 4U tall server, in my time spent with these units, all I can say is... cable management sucks with it but its such a good PSU, get this, dont go with evga get quality.

Easy to install being fully modular. Even with 30 series Nvidia GPUs requiring those weird 12 pins. I ended up going with the rm850x because of power needs. Solid device for sure

I have used Corsair power supplies in the past and they just work. I used this power supply on a previous build and was so impressed that I used it again on my current build. I like the fact that the cables are modular (choose the ones you need to install) and that they are neatly package in a nice bag. Its so quiet, it is even hard to tell if its running or not. Installation was a breeze into my case. Will continue to use these power supplies and would recommend them to anyone.

Very decent build quality. A great purchase when it goes on sale around $140. Should last you through a couple builds and has a 10 year warranty.

It was the only option I had at the time, but for the price it couldnt really be beat. When it comes to your hardware, there are certain things to spend more on. This PSU is one of those things.
