This unit worked for 30 minutes and then shut down. No load was ever placed on it. Simply installing windows and setting up programs. All of a sudden the machine shut off, and never turned on again. PSU just clicks and shuts off. Installed an older known good PSU and the machine is working again. Every corsair product I have ever purchased over the years has failed. This is yet another product I purchased that will ultimately be my last. I will never, EVER order another corsair product after this.

The ability to plug in the cables I need makes this power supply a winner.

Powers my pc efficiently no complaints about this power supply at all

24 pin to mb was slightly curved. I tried to plug in 24 pin to mb and noticed it wasn’t going it. Upon inspection I noticed the plug was slight curved causing it to not line up with mb plug. It finally went in but this is a quality control issue.

I have been struggling with an older bronze rated power supply that I bought a few years ago and I have been looking for the best powersupply that is energy efficient and has a low noise profile and was happy to find this beast.

EDIT: I got a new replacement order delivered and it had proper packaging. The unit is great, and works as you would expect. Its a bit overkill for my system, but it makes sure that it is within the highest efficiency curve. The modularity is great, and it hardly needs to spin the fan on idle load. Build quality is also great. But keep in mind that this power supply is longer than your 750 ones. So keep your case dimensions in mind when ordering this. Using this PSU in Corsair Spec-06 with a mechanical hard drive cage is a pain, but possible.Overall a great product.

Had no issues, works as expected in my machine.

I built my current pc, meaning I ordered components, installed the MOBO, etc. I had an issue and correctly diagnosed that the issue was a dead power supply. I ordered this and it was here by 8am the next morning, which was great! I installed it...fired it up...and nothing. Still a dead box. Assuming I had been sent a good part I surrendered and took my box to a pc repair store. In their trouble shooting they connected it to a power supply on hand and it fired right up...meaning I was sent a dead power supply. I talked to Amazon and the manufacturer about reimbursing me for the labor cost of the pc repair store and they wouldnt do it. I assumed I was sent a working part, and wasnt going to order another PSU just in case I wasnt. Seems hokey to not reimburse the labor for a cost I would have never incurred if Id been sent a working PSU. Corsair rep was very short and rude. Ill never buy Corsair again

Great power supply that has been working flawlessly for months. Very quiet and very stable.

Got this to test motherboards, old ones and newer ones. Works great. Simple power switch, which is a little small compared to larger one I have on corsair HX1000 and HX1200, but it works fine. Not a big deal. Nice power supply, been using a 2 or 3 months at this point, does a good job.
