> 3 dayIve been buying these plastic shims at the big box store for our remodeling project, they wont ever rot or degrade from moisture and they are very difficult (but not impossible) to crush. They are a bit cheaper on Amazon than they are in the retail store, and I honestly cant tell the difference except for the bulk packaging. I find these are easiest to cut off after placement using an oscillating tool as opposed to a razor knife. I dont think I will ever go back to using soft wood shims after my experience with these. Recommended for any building or remodeling project you have coming up!

Always something to do
> 3 dayThis package includes a Lot of shims at a great price. These are perfect for shimming outdoor projects, which is why I ordered them. I wanted composite shims not only because they are rot resistant, but because they can withstand great pressure. I would order these again.

> 3 dayThese composite shims are of good quality. I like these much better than the wood shims they dont split and are waterproof. Just finished using several them to level a large concrete bird bath.

> 3 dayHard, solid plastic shims. Very consistent sizing, and they easily snap off evenly. Exactly what Im looking for in a good shim. Perfect!

Greater than one weekThese seem to be good quality. This is a great buy for the quantity you get versus what you get for the same money at the big box store. I will buy these again.

> 3 dayIm not using them for tables. I used them to level redwood planks and stones for a raised bed. They worked great, were easy to cut and stayed put. No deformation is apparent after several days. These have a variety of uses and are a good price.

> 3 dayI find uses for shims all over our place so I like to have a bunch around. Not only are they useful for leveling appliances or window and door frames, they work great for leveling pieces of wood out in the shop when resawing or surfacing. I also used them for initial leveling of pool table slates (then finish with playing cards). Easy to break or cut.

> 3 dayThese shims are made of sturdy plastic. They are tapered at one end to make easy to jam them under uneven furniture and appliances. I like that they can be cut to the desired length by a tough pair scissors. I expect these to have a long life span. Definitely recommend.
