Use under flowerpots in rough flagstone courtyards. The variable height keeps them off the ground for drainage and stops them from shaking if you need to use more than three or wish to keep the POTS level. It works well. If its just a small pot, or for flat SLATE, you might choose the standard domino type wrapper, because I think theyre cheaper. If we had more POTS, we would buy more because they are so versatile.

These composite shims are some of the handiest things for remodeling that Ive come across. Were always working on something around this old house, and it seems like nothing is ever level. So, shims are pretty much a necessity. These are great and they hold so much more weight than the softer wooden shims. These are scored so they can easily be cut to size, and I dont worry about them degrading due to weather. As far as Im concerned, these are the only shims well be using from now on. The price is reasonable and the quality is good, making these a good value for the money.

These are really neato. You get a lot of them, they are very easy to use: measure what you need, snap to fit and you are done. Nice and heavy too. Seem to be generic product but does what it says it will.

If youve used wooden (or similar plastic) shims, you should have a good idea of what they are and what they will do. These are comparable to any other plastic shims I have used in years of construction. I think that you can be confident with these.

A good deal on a large quantity of shims. Fairly thin for fine adjustment. You can stack if needed. Easy to cut but dont compress.

I didnt even realize they sold sets of shims like this! What an amazing find! I normally use broken off popsicle sticks to slip underneath wobbly tables and storage racks. They are easy to use, you just snap them off to the size you need. With this set of 40 8 shims, I can pinpoint the exact height I need to stop a wobble and it looks decent, not like a bunch of broken sticks, haha! Since these are made from sturdy plastic, they can be used in wet, and rough environments, like the garage, sunroom, and workshop. You can also use these outside on the patio or deck to make a plant stand more sturdy, and stop the umbrella in the patio table from wobbling when you make the table itself wobble-free! I would recommend this pack of shims to anyone- the price is very low, and you can always use these around the house.

Always looking for shims and I usually use wood, I thought I’d like some variety in my shop and I do. I like these for the most part, but I’ll mark them down a point because they’re not actually easy to snap, as advertised. I had to bend them 10-15 times until I could finally break it, but at least it broke cleanly, so I don’t have a significant regret. Good and easy to use in all other senses!

These will come in handy when I install our doors in our house. Ive seen these at Lowes before and decided to get them here. They look identical to the one at local store so they should work well.

Smooth on one side ridges on the other. It’s somewhat flexible, more on the thin end. Should work great on a exterior door installation. Shims are handy for many uses including leveling things.

These are just like any other composite shim at initial inspection. I have no doubts that they will work the same too. No complaints here.
