> 3 dayThe brass rods were just what I needed to pin the handles on a Bowie knife project as well as fix a bread knife handle for my daughter. Thank you.

> 3 dayThese are 3mm, not 2, and crack when hammered, with or without annealing. Would not recommend.

> 3 dayOrdered 5/32 and received 4mm. 5/32 is just smaller than 4mm which is what I needed for my project. So back these will go. Got second shipment and once again got the 4mm not the 5/32. Moral of the story you dont get what you order... Do not purchase from this company if you are looking for 5/32... Granted the two sizes are very close, but these 4mm do not work for my application.

> 3 dayI used these for knife handle pins on a few projects. Price is good and quality of brass is good as well. Overall very happy. Will order again.

> 3 dayThese rods are oversized. They will not pass through a 3/16 hole! It requires at least a #11 drill .

06-11-2024Free cutting brass has a machinability of 100% commonly called 360 brass. This is 274 brass, which is 35% machinability. While more machinable than 260 brass at 30%, it still falls well short of the 100% needed to be called free cutting brass.

31-10-2024These rods are a very consistent 1.984mm in diameter, in other words they are 5/64. That may not seem like a significant difference, but it is very noticeable. And when your pivot holes are designed for 2mm, there is unacceptable slop. I wish the sellers would specify which measurement is the more accurate. (e.g. 6/64, close to 2mm).
