> 24 hourI think overall my kid is going to learn and add to his knowledge I bought this for my 11 year old son who is homeschooled and this was an addition to regular curriculum. Im so glad I purchased it! You should know that there is no software in the box, you simply receive a web address and a code to download the software along with a 8gb thumb drive. The thumb drive itself is blank - think of it more as a freebie - you dont even need it for learning. We have a Macbook and our son was able to follow the online directions and get everything required himself. Hes a bright boy, but not necessarily a computer nerd, so a child who can listen and follow directions will be successful with this. He has had a little bit of programming instruction through the free online Khan Academy, so the first few lessons were a wonderful review for him. He ran into a few little problems with his code, so he sent a chat message through the help feature and received timely answers that helped him sort out his mistakes on his own. After a bit of trial and error, he was able to complete the tasks with help from the chat feature when required. The instructions are available are in text and also in video tutorials and each of the lesson is followed by a practical exercise. My husband and I didnt have to do a thing to help. What a relief to find a product like this that doesnt require hours of tech support and troubleshooting just to make it work for your kid!

> 24 hourI picked this software up for my 18 year old daughter. Shes a freshman in a college graphic art degree. She loves learning code. She told me this program was confusing to her, but added that she already knew how to write HTML which is part of the Javascript in this program. So trying to run through it already knowing how to do it was confusing to her. So I signed in and gave it a whirl. I was confused at first until I understood how the program works. Its a little dated in its layout - for instance once you finish a lesson you have to scroll all the way back up to the top to click on the next lesson. It would be nice to have a smoother interface - but Im here to review the content. And the couple of lessons I did were very clear and easy to follow. For me - Im not sure a younger child would follow as easily but then again, if theyre into this stuff, theyll figure it out. In addition to the written lesson theres a video overview to help you our on each lesson as well.

> 24 hourMy sons have been wanting to learn coding for a long time, so after doing my research I finally decided to try this one out. My 13 y.o is very happy and he has been able to complete the first lesson all on his own. He says he likes it a lot and he is asking for Phyton for when he finishes this course. My 12 y.o is about to begin the course but Im sure he wont have any issues either.

> 24 hourYet another excellent product by Simply Coding. In less than 4 hours my son coded a pong game, renamed it and changed some of it to make it his game. I even received an email from Simply Coding informing me of my sons success. He is having so much fun with this program, I cant wait to see whats next! There are 2 more games he will learn to code with the help of this program and we are so excited to see them. Thank you for a wonderful way for my son to expand his learning.

> 24 hourThere was some good learning with this game. I thought it was pretty cool it came with a thumb drive for saving files. I rated it a three star because my son wasnt too impressed with it. He reads really well, but he is 8 1/2 years old. I think he may need a little more tech experience. I took a chance because I wanted him to learn while using a screen. I dont like time-wasting screens. I dont know for how long the code is active, but I would like him to try again in a few months.
