> 24 hourLet me begin by saying I am not technologically competent, which is why I purchased this particular program to convert my old VHS family tapes to DVD. I did not want to do a lot of fancy editing. I just wanted to preserve my old VHS tapes. There is a little paper booklet of instructions, and they are okay, but also leaves out some key details. There is also a more complete set of directions that download to your computer. Please use these directions. I was using Windows 10 so I know it works with this, even though some may say it does not. I understand because I almost returned the program several times. But, all the problems were the result of my not reading the directions carefully. Example, take off the power save option on your computer. My setting was for my computer to go to sleep after 15 minutes, and that kept screwing up my efforts before I figured that out. But, the crowning jewel in all of this is the tech department, specifically Tyler. I emailed him many times, and he patiently and quickly answered all my questions. He should get a raise! The end result is that I have converted all my old family tapes to DVD, and also copied them to flash drives which is really convenient.

> 24 hourBought this to convert old VHS movies to DVD. The setup went flawlessly (Im running Windows 10). The directions were clear and easy to follow. Ive done a couple of conversions so far. No real issues with the conversion nor with the burning of the DVDs. The original quality of the VHS tape dictates the quality of the DVD, you cant make it better than the original - at least not with this software. Very happy with this product.

> 24 hourThis is very simple device, almost plug-n-play. Following the simple setup, it worked 1st time right out of the box. This is great value for the money. If you just want basic copying and burning with a very few adjustments, this is the way to go. Like using Paint vs. Photoshop. Had a problem 2nd time tried using, emailed their customer service. They replied back next day and worked with me to resolve problem. OUTSTANDING customer service. I would thoroughly recommend them.

> 24 hourThe captured video is only as good as your VHS player. Hook up with S-video if you can. My oldest home videos look not so great, but they are almost 40 years old. The ones less then 10 years old turned out great.

> 24 hourI Like the product to save my old VHS tapes. Tech support is extremely responsive. I started the program with a problem uploading the VHS tape, no sound, picture only. They helped me figure out it was due to a previous program that did not totally uninstall. Fixed that. Editing is a little complicated, havent figured it out yet. Their burn to disc, for me, doesnt work. I quit trying after a number of attempts, even though Tech support had more ideas to try. The disc would not work on a DVD player and TV. I found I could easily drag and burn to disc in Windows. This process turned out great for me. Sound and picture and the DVD disc works on computer and DVD player. When I try to burn to disc from this program I get no sound from disc on DVD player. I give their tech support 5 stars just because of their effort, quick responses and determination to make it work.

> 24 hourThe software that came with the device is broken due to the latest Microsoft update. They sent me another software package that did work and promised a license. I noticed yesterday the unit was getting very hot. Today to see if I could clear some of the noise in the video I used my laptop instead of desktop, it got hot there as well.. and now the housing has come apart. I snap it back and it just pops open. Anther issue has developed and that is I am not getting sound now. I believe this may be to the heat of the device and it falling apart. Tech support IS working with me. I will update.

> 24 hourI rarely give 5 star reviews, as Im a firm believer in theres always room for improvement. That being said, once you get the application loaded up and launched - its a straight forward user experience. Where this product excels is in Customer/Tech Support. My laptop doesnt have a CD drive. I wrote to Tech support asking for a ZIP file with the .exe file. To be honest, I didnt think Id hear back for at least a day. In less than an hour I received a response from Tyler, Lead Tech Support, looking for proof of purchase. And once provided that info, I had the file. I did encounter a technical issue after successfully installing file. I wont go into detail as thats not important. What is important is this, Tyler exchanged emails with me for about an hour or so until the issue was resolved. Its been a long, long time since Ive encountered an organization with such dedicated and well educated customer/tech support.

> 24 hourI had 40+ years of 8mm film converted to VHS years ago. No sound. Time to convert the VHS to DVD before it degrades too much. Instructions were easy to follow and the DVD I created plays perfectly with resolution equal to the quality of the VHS. All to be expected. Someone indicated in their review they were unhappy they could not expand the work screen to full screen. True, but it doesnt bother me at all. This was half the price of a product I purchased that didnt work. I cant speak to how well it edits or records with sound but for my purposes, I am 100% happy with this product. I use Windows 10.
