Classical Baby: Im Grown Up Now: The Poetry Show

I had the first three classical baby DVDs and wanted to get this one as well. It was not disappointing and had everything I wanted for my baby. She is 15 months old and doesnt yet like the slower poems, like William Shakespeare, but when she is a little older, I think she will get into the groove. So, if you like the first three, you will like this one as well. It has poems, songs, and children reading poems or talking about poems. It even has a poem in Spanish, which is very beautifully read by Andy Garcia.

Its sure hard to beat my kiddo learning words while watching this show. She loves to dance and giggle while watching.

My son is 18 months old and loves the Classical Baby movies (Art, Dance and Music). So I bought this Poetry and he loves it as well. Very cute dvd.

I came upon this on hbo yesterday by accident. What a lovely accident! I was thoroughly entertained, soothed, and entranced by what I was hearing/seeing. It was touching to hear some of my favorite poems talked about by these sweet, bright chidren, sung, read by stars and the artists themselves. It was a TREAT that fed me to my soul

The poetry edition is on par with the originals in nearly all ways. My only dislike is the departure from animation when they interview kids in a sort of Reading Rainbow style. Maybe my kids will like that as they get a bit older, but for now they just want music, words, and pretty colors.

2 years old son loves all classical baby collection. he doesnt seem to be interested in this dvd. contents are very good, but not appealing to my son.

Beautiful beautiful DVD. My 2 year old loves it. He recites quite a few poetry from this. Well worth the money!

we have so many magical moments with these series!! we thought our 16 months old baby is too young for this but he just loved it from first sight! he is now 26 months and still this film is one of his favorites! very well done, thumbs up! we love giving this as a present as well..

Love, love these. We had these taped on our DVR from HBO for years and then switched cable systems and lost the shows. I bought these when we had baby #2. Lovely and educational!

Very good video, although my least favorite of the 4-series, which is exceptional and one of the best series. Far exceeds typical baby-kids videos of today. A taste of arts to be remembered. Well done, HBO!
