> 3 dayI bought this for my daughters second birthday. She already has Dance, Art, and Music, which she adores. She wanted to watch the Poetry DVD immediately again after her first viewing. This DVD is often the first thing on her mind when she wakes up in the morning. It is a bit shorter than the rest of the series and includes real children talking about poetry (the others in the series are completey animated). Classical Baby is the best childrens series I have found that appeals to both children and adults.

> 3 dayThis Classical Baby line is clever and artistic. My baby, since around 5 or 6 months, has seen them all many times, and the graphics and music really grab her attention. I, too, am happy to watch these compared to a lot of other childrens programs. The Poetry show seems to be her favorite, I think because she gets a kick out of the children interviewed between the poems.

> 3 dayThis is a high quality product. Were very concerned about what we expose our son to and this HBO product meets the highest standards.

30-10-2024The Poetry cd was a run away favorite for all ages: from 5 to 70. My 5 y.o. grand-daughter said: I love this. It makes me feel calm.

> 3 dayIt is a truly beautiful introduction to an amazing array of poetry, letting your child know that poetry comes in many styles. The choice of poetry, the way it is read, the music and the images will leave you mesmerized. The comments by all the children are the icing on the cake.

> 3 dayI love it. It is HBOs great production. Baby can listen to it and watch it again and again, and it is so well done, we do not mind repeating it for her, again and again. I love this DVD is excellent. The only downside it is that if you live in Europe you need the kind of DVD that plays universally all formats. But otherwise this is an excellent production.

Greater than one weekChildren talking about what poetry means to them? It might be interesting to their parents and teachers, but it doesnt make it entertaining for anyone else. The music is nice and keeps a childs attention, but much of the rest is boring.
