Pretty good shifter paranormal romance. I liked the characters and the story. The FMC was fun and I’ll definitely read the next one.

Great read and fast paced. I could not put it down and even though I was sleepy, I had to finish it. The words flow seamlessly and the characters are fun to get to know. Im ready to start book 2.

Ive never read this author or heard about this series before. As an introduction to a new author and series, this one was great; short, a great balance of information and some action and enough of an introduction to put the chess pieces on the board. So it wasnt bad. Could I have done with a bit more detail, explanation, a proper ending? Absolutely yes, but it was not to be. Now, as I mentioned, it was quite short... Since I had a quiet evening dedicated to drowning my sorrows in fiction, I thought Id peruse the rest of the series, only to find them all equally short but a lot more pricey. This is a pet peeve of mine; mini novellas sold at the price of full size books, especially where theres no expansion on details, no resolution and closure per book but rather its one story with mini events, split across multiple short books. A lot like a TV series. How do I know Im right? Well, book 1 sets the precedent and as I type, Nash is bleeding out on a hiking path and much information still needs to be shared about Triss new line of work. Book 1 could have taken the time to educate us all (including Tris) more and could have ended on a much more complete note. So if I could pick up the rest of the series at a 99c sale, Id probably do that but otherwise Im okay with where Im at right now.

I love this new series by our jen! I was hooked from the start! its an easy read and starts with a unique introduction with crazy boyfriend kidnapping girlfriend right from the start! I couldn’t put it down and it ended too soon! im glad book two is around the corner! Bring it on! looks like Trish problems are just the beginnings of the big picture. New powers comes with alot of responsibility, cute alpha bear and alot of unwanted attraction by the villains. I read this with my kindle unlimited.

This book had great reviews so I was happy to start reading. I ended up making it through half of the 4th book and thats after skimming/skipping some parts. It was ok enough but I felt it was very juvenile. My 14 year old self may have liked this more. The writing was ok. I know were talking about unrealistic topics here but there were parts that seemed very unrealistic...as in, I cant imagine anyone acting/reacting that way. Other parts were really good. My rating is based more on the writing as I understand maybe the younger crowd is the audience this book is intended for.
