Canon CLI-42 8 PK Value Pack Ink, 8 Pack Compatible to PIXMA PRO-100

After trying my hand at ink refills, weve started using genuine Canon ink again. The colors on generic ink are so heard to tweak... and we spent way to much time getting things right color wise, only for it to change on the next batch. The original ink is expensive, but it lasts longer, doesnt fade, and produces the same results all the time. You definitely pay for quality control, but when it comes to printing, that isnt something you want to mess around with.

Ive been buying this set a few times now and never had an issue with the print quality. This last batch (which was the cheapest Ive gotten) is different than the 4 sets Ive bought before. I noticed that my bright, colored prints were looking a bit dull and I couldnt wrap my head around it. I thought that I mustve changed the settings in my printer, or they reset without me knowing. I sell art prints with my own designs and have a few popular ones that many people buy. I keep a small sample for reference and since I changed the cartridges, the last few prints look dull compared to my samples. I really wish I could keep buying these but I cant trust them again. Im going to buy the ink from box stores, or directly from the Canon website, until I can find a suitable replacement. Im giving it 3 stars (even though Im pretty disappointed) because the last 4 sets were good.

We got two yellow cartridges instead of the black one that was needed.

This is quality ink that produces beautiful photographs when used with first-rate paper. It is expensive, but Ive yet to find anything cheaper that is better.

Big value for me included all eight inks

Product was previously opened, original packing material was removed and replaced with crumpled paper, and four out of the eight cartridges were defective -- leaking.
