> 3 dayThe tags seem weird in the age of tagless underwear. Amazon suggested that I go a size up and get XL instead of L based on customer reviews. Unless there is shrinkage noticeable after the first wash then L is the correct size as opposed to the Amazon suggestion that I go a size-up to XL.

> 3 dayThe classic has been remade and some changes are more noticeable than others. The look appears largely unchanged from a distance although – in reality – the cotton is cheaper and thinner, the logo detailing much flatter and accurately representative of the CK logo, and the fit/sizing is totally different/confusing. Im a 32 waist but, since working out more regularly, I began needing the 34 size in the previous generation of this product. Now, according to the S-XL sizing for this generation of CK briefs, I should wear a medium (32-34). But going with that size makes these go from tighty whities to low-rise extra-tighty whities. After a few washes and using the gentlest of cycles, these briefs become much tighter fitting, reducing the rise slightly and the crotch size greatly. Its too snug and low for the cut being sold. And thats coming from a fan of hip briefs and other cuts. Not about modesty, just accuracy. And - btw - if you get the low-rise version of these briefs in your supposed size expect some major plumbers crack and minimal coverage up front. But, order a size up and what happens? They pretty much fit just like youd expect! Theyll appear large, but lo and behold, after just a few wash and dry cycles they shrink and fit way better than the appropriate size. I cant say I like having to buy a size larger, but when you want to keep wearing this style of CK briefs, youve got to change with the times in more ways than one. The large (36-38) fits me like Id assume a size 35 in the previous generation would (if that were a size offered). They feel slightly larger than my 34 ones but definitely not a 36. And that difference continues to shrink as these briefs seemingly do with each wash and dry. Perhaps if you were definitively on the lower end of the range for a size they would fit okay. But if you are on the middle or upper end of a size (or have average or above assets in either the front or back, youll want to definitely consider sizing up). Side note: love the colors these come in now :)

> 3 dayThese briefs are exactly what I have been searching for. I only wear grey or black clothing. i went to Hanes, Jockey, and others. The classic brief style is hard to find. Everybody is pushing boxers and speed-o styles. And no one will sell grey briefs alone. They all want to sell 3-packs, 6-packs, 10-packs, etc.; all collections of various colors. Then I found the Calvin Klein briefs. Classic brief style; but not stodgy. And I could buy only grey! They are well-constructed, of quality fabric. Im really glad I found them..

Greater than one weekThese run just a bit big but are pretty soft and comfy. Only had a few weeks so cant speak to durability. The reason I would never buy these again are the ridiculous amount of tags attached of which I included a photo. They do not pull off either you have to cut them. In this day of tag less under garments especially this was insane; especially for the price.

> 3 dayMy husband has worn these CK black briefs for years and the last ones are finally giving out so I looked for a long time to find these. I can’t even remember when I bought his last packages at Costco, but they stopped carrying this style several YEARS ago and I haven’t been able to find them. He’s been wearing the same ones, but the knit edges are beginning to come loose from the elastic bands so it was time to get serious about replacing them (even so, the elastic bands are still in good shape!) I was so happy to find these for hubby cuz he hates all the new boxer briefs that fit like Speedos. However, after just a few short months, the elastic is rippling in the back seam of the waistband, so it won’t be long until it starts fraying. This used to be such a quality product: they must be using a different supplier of elastic, cuz the quality is just not what it used to be. and these newer ones cut into his leg, so the pattern must cut differently too. Too bad… it used to be a great product. not so much now.
