I was looking for something that I could use on my lap for my iPad to use while on the couch or in bed. Many people said it can’t be used on your lap as it needs a solid surface, but, I have no problem using it on my lap. It’s not as stable as it would be on a solid surface and I don’t know how well it would work with a laptop, but, it suits my needs perfectly with an iPad. The unit itself is very well made.

I bought this for my 15 HP laptop. The stand itself is sturdy on my desk and doesnt slide around. My laptop stays in place when on the stand and doesnt slide horizontally at all. The stand also looks nice as I love minimalism.

I like the ergonomic design, portability & sturdiness of this stand. I use it for both a sitting workstation as well as standing. When standing I place it on 3 thick text books; it does not slide & is very stable. My posture is in proper alignment when using this stand; no more forward head position & rounded shoulders. I highly recommend this Boyata adjustable laptop stand.

I was really excited to get this because it could extend my laptop for easy use as a second monitor (and at proper eye level) but unfortunately if extended high it becomes totally unstable. Putting a heavy book on it solved the problem but that’s not why I bought. I get that it’s a matter of physics (becomes too heavy) but then they should’ve limited the range. Otherwise I don’t trust my laptop on this…

I was really impressed when my stand arrived. For what it’s worth, I purchased it as an “open box/previously returned item” -my first time doing so on Amazon- but it was in mint condition. Only the box it arrived in had any wear whatsoever. Im very impressed with the quality and durability of this piece, its one of those things that is just neat to look at on your countertop because of the fit-finish- build quality and engineering of it.

This isnt a complicated product, but it does what it says, simply, and perfectly.

bought this for my MacBook Air and realized id probably want a keyboard as I was assuming I wouldnt be Abe to type on the stand but boy was I happy I waited to see, defiantly dont need one! this stand is so worth it ! secure and not worried about the stand collapsing or loosening only had it a week but im very happy with quality!
