The build quality is good… nice thick gauge metal used throughout, the quality control leaves something to be desired. Just as several people mentioned in the reviews, the first laptop stand I got rocked back and forth (like an table in a restaurant with slightly uneven legs… very annoying) because the metal plate that made up the base was not completely flat (not apparent to the naked eye, but very apparent when placed upon a flat surface and a laptop is placed on the stand. I asked for and received a replacement from Amazon. I have yet to set it up and use it regularly, but I did test it to make sure it did not rock back and forth, which thankfully it did not.

This laptop stand is attractive and very functional. It can be adjusted to a wide range of positions and is stable and sturdy enough to stay put. This has helped reduce so much of my neck and back strain as I use my computer all day. I loved it so much that I bought three more for my family. Shipped quickly.

I love this! Ive recommended it to my friends and 2 others have already bought it. It frees up my table area so I can write while watching whats going on, on my screen. Sturdy enough that I can use the keyboard without having it move around, and adjustable to whatever height I need. I looked at others, but they were not flexible so if their height didnt work for you there was nothing you could do. I can adjust this on to my current needs.

I bought this because I was having neck pain from looking down at my computer all day at work. Now, my neck pain is relieved from this laptop stand. It is adjustable to your height preference, is light weight and portable for travel, and is very simple and discrete looking. I love it!

I really like this thing. It is not wobbly at all -- it holds its place surprisingly well. I use it on a kitchen island so that my devices can be up away from the food -- and I can still use the space below it.

Here is a picture of the Boyata stand supporting my 17inch ASUS ROG gaming laptop. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for stability is that my laptop is large and heavy, but the stand still supports it adequately. I also tested cooling differences between my laptop on the table and on the stand under gaming conditions, and there was little to no difference in temperature readouts. Definitely recommended! Looks good too.
