This is unfortunately not something you can be cheap about. Laptops can be heavy and you want something sturdy enough to not tip over.

So glad I bought this device. Sturdy, holds its position, allows air to circulate around laptop (keeping it cool). My wife liked it so much that I bought one for me. :-)

Two challenges I have with most laptop stands: (1) they do not put the screen high enough to be eye level for me. (2) Because of the angle at which they sit, the screen is further away than I would like. This stand solves both problems. It is fully adjustable so I can lift the screen up higher and angle it so it can sit closer to me. The stand is sturdy, so I am comfortable having my laptop on it. I also like the open space underneath it that makes my desk feel less crowded. Overall, it is a great stand for a very reasonable price.

This laptop stand and holder turned out to be a great purchase. It is a little stiff to open and close but that mechanism is what holds the laptop up once you adjust this stand to your preference. Ive used it on my desk, while seated at the couch, while seated at counter ... its worked for everything. My Apple MacBook Pro does seem to get warm on the bottom (I use it for work and school so its used frequently) so the open vent on the bottom is perfect. I highly recommend this product.

I just set this stand up in my studio and it is a very strong and well designed stand for my laptop. Absolutely no slipping or movement once in place. Well adjustable to whatever angle you need. I would buy this again if or when I am in need of a laptop stand. I highly recommend this product!

I can see people using this for their laptops to get some elevation, but you know what this thing is perfect for? Projectors. Now I got my own personal theater on my ceiling.

Right out of the box it was horribly stiff and hard to open. Im not overly weak but I had to use my feet to open it. Not user friendly for the elderly but hoping that it will be able to open and close when I take it places to study.
