BLACKSTRAP Hood Balaclava Face Mask, Dual Layer Cold Weather Headwear for Men and Women

This is the best fitting, most comfortable and durable balaclava I have used for snow sports. I only gave it four stars because the price is high and these rarely go on sale. (Friendly Swede sells a good one too for much less). That said, this is a nice one.

This is perfect for outdoor activities! I use it for fat biking and snowboarding. It keeps my head warm, fits under a helmet, and meets the criteria of a face mask which most ski hills now require.

Ideal for working outside in cold weather.

Excellent construction. Using it for surfing and while riding jet skis.

Made with great material, soft and stretchy

like that hte seam is not directly in teh middle of my forehead, material is nice nad soft, little thicker around the mouth to keep warm, only down side is that label is large and chunky on the side of the face.

This balaclava is versatile, smartly designed, and generous in its proportions. Fits my big head, and it has a long neck that keeps my neck warm, as the balaclava stays securely underneath my jacket. It surprised me the first few times I rode with it, because it really kept my head warm. I like the option of either having my entire face, except for my eyes, covered, or just my mouth, or the third option, underneath my chin.

I use these face masks for snowboarding, and they work and fit great. Surprisingly they work very well in both warm and cold weather. They are breathable enough that they keep you cool on those warm days and insulated enough that they keep you warm on those cold days. I mainly use them to prevent, my nose running and getting chapped lips, and I have yet to have either of the two while using these masks. Plus they look really cool; people always stare at while I’m on the mountain. Great product!

Hood is warm but pretty thin. Best feature is that when is gets wet/sweaty is doesnt sag like other balaclavas. The side portions can cause hotspots on the ears if a helmet is worn

Im an average size woman and this balaclava worked beautifully for my needs. I tried the tubes but between my hair and my glasses I felt like I was always tugging it up. Since this goes over the top of the head it stays put. I use it for snowshoeing so Im getting my heart rate and breathing up and I was able to breath without issue.
