Good balaclavas are not as common as you may think and seems like Blackstrap has really put some thought into this one. Fits really comfortable. It has a nice chamois on your mouth so condensation is slightly more pleasant of an experience and the 2-piece-like design makes it fit much better than most others. Last but not least, it is just the right level of warmth such that you do not melt inside it

Love this balaclava!! I wore it on a recent ski trip, 33 during the day and 27 at night and it kept my face and neck warm all day. It was easy to pull up and down over my mouth and nose. It would get damp from condensation, but nothing like other masks Ive used.

Very well made, however it is not lined, so it will not work for me, since I needed it for skiing.

I bought this for fishing and use it for blowing snow. This winter has been brutal in MT, and this Balaclava has been a life saver. Ive got a big head, but its not tight. I dont over heat & it doesnt get cold from my breath. By far my favorite Balaclava Ive ever worn. I highly recommend this product.

The hinge design is great. I wear this under my helmet, not a fan of wearing a beanie. It’s nice to pull it down from my face when I get warm, but still have my head covered. I wear a size Large helmet and this hood fits great without being too tight on my head. It may be loose if you wear a Small helmet or hat.

Love this! lighter weight but still warm and super comfy. can fit under helmets which is nice!
