> 3 dayI ordered these acrylic sheets to cut down for small shelves in a custom niche in my home office that will hold small glass items and keepsakes. The niche is recessed into the wall, 8” wide/deep, and 60” tall. A smart light at the top shines down with color-changing effects, so I wanted the shelves to be clear. I chose these 1/5-inch-thick xTool acrylic sheets to ensure that they would not sag under the weight of small keepsakes. I ordered a 2-pack that arrived securely packaged and exactly as described. Each sheet measures 12” x 12”. The 1/5-inch thickness is heftier than I expected and akin to a 1/4” piece of heavy-duty glass, except it’s lighter than glass and doesn’t break. Each sheet is protected on both sides by a semi-opaque plastic film that peels off easily. Once the acrylic surface is exposed, it is crystal clear and blemish-free. When I cut the sheets down, I used a jigsaw. I left the protective film on while cutting so I would not scratch the surface, and I applied a 2-inch-wide strip of masking tape along the cutlines for more protection. These sheets are high-quality acrylic—crystal clear and quite substantial. I was impressed by the quality, and the price isn’t bad considering that all acrylic products have become pricier lately. I am happy with this purchase and will buy this product again if I undertake similar projects in the future.

01-11-2024Works perfectly with the D1 Pro 20 watt XTool Great quality, with wonderful results (my projects were gifted before I remembered to take pictures, but everything turned out great!

> 3 dayThese are pristine pieces of acrylic that are as expected. They are NOT clear nor transparent at all. They are fully opaque and slick. Beautiful but not see through. I suspect that all of these varying colors will be the same non-transparent products. If this is what you need, you are in the right place!

> 3 dayI got these for a logo project Im making with the laser. The scattering on this is such that it is very difficult to cut with a 20 watt 455 nm diode laser. It engraves nicely and will cut smaller pieces, but for large pieces (I was doing about 6 x 6 inch parts), the kerf cools down and the material re-flows during a pass so you never get a through cut, no matter how many passes you attempt (I stopped at 11). Because of the scattering with this color, fine details are lost as well because the scattering heats and removes material beyond the normal laser kerf. Update: I will give credit to the company. I was contacted and offered a refund for this product. I really appreciate that kind of customer service.

Greater than one weekLike the other XTool acrylic Ive ordered, this came well-packaged (cardboard, bubble wrap inside) and all of the pieces were flat and chip-free. It cuts well. Not sure if I like the etching on black - doesnt really stand out - but this is a problem with all colored acrylic. Unlike the clear that I ordered (which had plastic film on one side, paper on the other), these had plastic film on both sides. I prefer paper, since its one less layer of plastic to melt and I find it easier to remove after cutting, but this is a minor problem. I used it to make some control panels - the holes and slots cut perfectly for switches, lights, etc. The etched labels didnt work so well - Ill have to figure out something else there. One advantage over cheap acrylic is that the odor is significantly less - I can actually open the compartment a minute after cutting without feeling like I was going to get knocked out. All in all, perfect for laser cutting on my K40 - Ill upload photos of etching after I get some results that I like.

> 3 daySolid red that is slightly opaque. This is the fourth color that I have gotten from X Tools and all have been spot on. Thickness is the same, colors are solid and it works easily in my muse Titan 75w.

> 3 dayThis is a lovely blue cast acrylic. So why did I give it only 4 stars? Its the description, not the item. I am seeing this with other sellers as well, and it upsets me. In my opinion, a 12 square should measure 12 on a side. At least they did not call it 1/4 thick like others do. This measures 11 3/4 x 11 3/4. So if you are doing a special project that requires, say, a 12 circle, this is not for you. And if you need a particular thickness, this measures on a micrometer between .185 and .190 (depending on where you measure, which is normal for acrylic). From the tolerance charts for acrylic that I have found on Google, this does qualify as being listed as 1/5. As long as you know what you are actually getting, this would be a beautiful product to work with.

> 3 dayThis is a very nice piece of Acrylic. I am a woodworker and use Acrylic sheets to make home made jigs for my wood working projects. This piece is almost to nice for what i WILL USE IT FOR.
