I LOVE THIS STAND!!!!!! It’s so steady and rigid, I believe it’s made out of aluminum. Personally, I bought this item because the camera angle for my online classes was really awful from down up, so with this stand i have a more pleasing angle to look at. Plus it looks sooooooo good and minimal on top of a white desk/table, and match my aesthetic of gray, black and white on my room. 100% recommended!!!

This was perfect size for my laptop

Since I began working from home during the pandemic, I realized that I needed a laptop riser to make my desk setup - which includes my work laptop, personal laptop, and monitor - more ergonomic. I tried using one that had a drawer underneath for a while. The drawer was handy, but took up too much room on my desk. I like that with this stand, I can place stuff underneath of it. So now, Im able to place my laptop on the stand to one side of my desk, and my external monitor on the other, and I have extra desk room because I store my other laptop on the bottom of the stand. I have the height of my monitor adjusted to match the height of the stand, and it works perfectly. I like the simple, modern style of this stand and that it allows the air to flow around my laptop. Its a lot heavier and more sturdy than I thought it would be, and it has rubber feet so that it does not slip around. For me, the height is just right. Its about 4 high in the front and a little less than 6 in the back. I use an external mouse and keyboard, but I like to use the trackpad on my laptop too, and at 4 the height is not too uncomfortable for occasional use of the trackpad. It comes unassembled, but snaps together in literally seconds.

This stand is VERY solidly built, made out of plenty thick metal. Very sleek, matches the Apple look perfectly, brings my laptop up to eye level to take strain off of my neck and eyes, and allows me to keep my small MIDI keyboard stored underneath it to save space.

Its perfect for me. It raises my laptop to the perfect viewing angle. It also fits perfectly between the intake vents on the bottom of my laptop. If you are buying this for anything but a MacBook you should make sure your air vents won’t be blocked by the stand.
