I bought this tool for my contractor. We have bullnose corners in our home. While replacing our baseboards, the contractor didn’t want to make the cuts for the rounded corners. I bought two of these in order to make it so easy; how could they refuse? They used the bench dogs and I got my job done!

22.5 degrees? Sorry, in order to use this to the manufacturers directions, you have to cut your pieces to 22.5 degrees. If Im a DIY, then I probably can only do 90 and 45 with the low price miter box I bought. That being said, this piece did allow me to visualize the solution for the trim I was working on and so it was worth the small investment.

A valuable layout tool for measuring trim around bullnose sheetrock corners. I have used shop made trim gages in the past but this is small, easy to find because of its orange color and durable.

Recently finished a home remodel and changed the 90 degree corners to bull nose corners. I struggled with finding the correct length for baseboards, but this makes it easy to hit the correct length/angle every time. Instructions are included on the package, are straight forward, making installation easy. This gauge though doesnt make the cuts and measures for you, you must have some skill with tools required to carry out your project.

This tool makes doing bull nose trim so easy. I used to use a small square, but when the walls are not exact or close to 90 degrees, the cuts would be off. I was able to do the rounded corners a lot quicker. With this tool almost all corner pieces were 5/8 at the back, with a 22.5 degree cut.

You have to figure it out a little bit. The best way I found to do it was to make the marks, cut and attach the wall and end pieces 1st. Measure, cut and attach the little corner pieces 2nd. Worked really well for me.

A friend of mine told me about this device, but I could not get it to work for me. I completely take responsibility as user error, and hired a guy to finish the job. The guy I hired used the same tool, so I guess he should have written the review!
