Very easy to use and saves time so you get very tight joints. I’ve done baseboard and crown without this clever little tool before but this takes a lot of the guesswork and double cutting out of the job.

Great product. What more can I say. My only complaint is that I could have saved quite a bit of time and money if I had this product years ago. But you know the old saying, better late, than really late.

Product only accounts for a bullnose with a radius of 3/4 where the transition piece is 5/8. However, rounded corners on my house apparently have a radius of 1/2 so transition piece needed to be 7/16. This threw the math off for both left and right pieces. I ended up using trial and error along with wood putty to fill the gaps. It would have been nice if there was any indication in the description that bullnose corners vary in sizes. This also explained why when I put the trim gauge up to my corners, there were gaps under both sides as they did not sit flush with the corners. I only learned of different bullnose sizes after watching a video showing a cheat sheet. For radius of 1/2, transition piece is 7/16. For radius of 3/4, transition piece is 5/8. For radius of 1, transition piece is 13/16. Finally for radius of 1 1/2, transition piece is 1 1/4.

This made it so much easier to measure for my baseboard. Really got my moneys worth.

I was a little iffy about this, but it works exactly as advertised, which made measuring the base boards easy as pie. Not sure how sheerness figures into this, but define value for money

Wish it could accommodate larger angles. I ran into several outside corners that were greater than 90 and was wishing that this gauge was adjustable. Price is too high for a bit of orange plastic.

A valuable layout tool for measuring trim around bullnose sheetrock corners. I have used shop made trim gages in the past but this is small, easy to find because of its orange color and durable.

... the break for the cuts, but youll need to be a craftsman to make the cuts tight. Ill bet your house does not have a single 90* outside corner in it, and that is what you must have, a true 90, for this gauge to do its job. Then youll need a saw that can cut an accurate 22.5* angle both left and right. And the 5/8 throat is rare. Most bullnose bends are 1/2. This device does however, make a great pencil tray on my work bench. Keeps those suckers from rolling off the table and breaking the leads.

Works great to help build/trim around rounded corners. It helps make accurate and consistent measurements so final results look professional.

Simple, effective tool to allow accurate, tight bullnose miter joint cuts at a great price.
