Bell Mens Star/Vortex/RS-1 and Revolver Helmet Faceshield, One Size, Dark Smoke

I didnt want a really dark shield that would cut vision at night so I figured I would try this shade. It works pretty well and cutting enough glare so that you dont have to squint. Still light enough to see at dusk as well. Super easy to install.

Loved the way it looks and the mirror like reflection.

Nice shield but there are micro-cracks throughout the whole field of vision. Passable for somthing that costs $29. Unacceptable for one that costs $65......I honestly expected a bit more from Bell.

I got my monarch Bell helmet a few months ago. My biggest concern is protecting from sun damage to my skin. Ive been on enough cross country rides that have done damage over the years that I really needed to switch from my half helmet. Even though the stock shield claimed to be protective from UV rays, it seemed to still allow me to get more color than I wanted. This shield was exactly what I needed and now I am definitely comfortable riding all day without any issues!

Looks great! Tint level is good for riding during the day - wouldnt recommend to use at night. In some cross-lighting, the visor develops a hazy appearance. The inside fogs up in high moisture conditions, despite the anti-fog coating. Fits as it should with OEM Bell helmets. Click-release is a great feature!

Perfect fit , a little pricey though

If youve never used a pinlock shield, youre in for a treat. I was sceptical, but no other solution comes close. No fog in the pinlock area, no matter how cold or humid it gets. Ill never go without it again.

Pros: -Looks absolutely stunning!!!(huge emphasis) -Comes with anti-fog features -Tinted on the inside to help combat being Sun-blind -Girls cant see you creeping Cons: -Smudges extremely easily -While usable during nighttime conditions, its fairly dangerous. Highly recommend having a non-tinted visors to switch out when night-riding. The visor looks fantastic. Just make sure you have a soft cloth handy to wash the loads of fingerprints this thing attracts(use water only!). Also take care if using it at night.

Good price, did arrive on day later than originally scheduled. Quality OEM shield, easy to install.

There was a defect in the plastic by the lift tab. Looked like a drip of plastic. Also it wasn’t totally clear. The glare of headlights through the shield I received was unbearable. I’m almost positive it was defective. I will update when the new one shows up. UPDATE: New one showed up with zero blemishes and crystal clear.
