I was SO excited to try these as my son is a wiggle worm and does not like for us to trim his nails at all, and getting the angles we need to while he’s asleep is beyond difficult. Unfortunately they did not stay together, the adhesive on the file pads was not sufficient to get them to stick to the thumb file, and the product itself did not work to file his nails. It seemed more like a buffer pad than a file, nothing of note seemed to work and his nails stayed sharp enough to scratch me while he was eating. Back to sleep trimming and filing for us!

Was struggling to do my newborns nails and saw an ad for these on Instagram. Made life so much easier. While she was feeding and distracted I could quickly and easily get her nails done without a fight!

I love this! Used it from day one. The thumb bracket is adjustable and pads are great. It’s true that they come off a but because the pads are flat and the front surface is curved but I just press it down before I use it and it’s fine.

This nail file is okay. I dont see how it leaves one hand free though. Maybe because my baby is wiggley but I still use 2 hands. It seems like you have to change the file per use which isnt cost effective. My baby is 4 months so his fingers are little but his nails grow fast so I have to cut them every week or he scratches himself. This works better then the electric baby nail file which would leave his nails sharp and jagged though.

I am a first-time mom, expecting my little girl in the next month and I have been a little worried about using infant nail clippers on my baby, since Ive heard they can cut the babys fingers. I saw an ad for the Thumble on Facebook and decided to give it a try. It seems like it is very simple to use and will be gentle on baby girls fingers. If it works as well as I think it will, Ill definitely be ordering some for friends who are expecting later this year!

it’s not as amazing as I thought it would be.. the sticky nail file part will not stay adhered to the plastic piece. Of course I’m outside of the return window, (I have two littles) & I only used it ONCE!

It’s great for newborns and toddlers It’s very complete I would just like the box to be a little more friendly or big because it’s hard to close it.

I am on my second little and it was hard enough to trim down those baby talons for my first let alone another one. This makes it easy! She grabs my shirt or my finger when falling asleep anyway I’m able to as slow or fast as I want get those talons cut down safely! It truely is the best invention and so worth the buy.

It was a little hard for me to use but I love that I only need one hand to do this. The adhesion could be a bit stronger.

This product is great. My husband and I were terrified to trim our newborns tiny nails but she was scratching us and her own face a lot. We tried other files first but this was by far the easiest and most effective! I used it while she was awake even and it didn’t bother her at all and her nails are much more dull and more manageable. Highly recommend.
