Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Professional Monitor Headphones + Slappa Full Sized HardBody PRO Headphone Case (SL-HP-07)

I actually returned the headphones after purchase because I was dissapointed with the sound and felt the pressure the headset put on the ears/head was uncomfortable. I ended up picking up the Sony MDRV6 because I knew that cheaper Sonys I had owned were comfortable and tended to have good sound and I have been happy so far. If you are ok with my complaints and still want to purchase, here are the positives I found.. the M50s looked great and were one of the best built headphones I have encountered with a nice solid build.

I have a fairly small head, so I found these to be a bit heavy and slip off. Other than that the construction is good and the quality is high. Sound is great.

Recently the sound out of right ear stopped working. Not sure when it occurred since I dont use these often. I had to pay my own shipping to the service center, serviced with new ear elements and returned to me via ground. They replaced two ear element drivers. Total elapsed time was reasonable in getting them back to me, mostly ground ship time

Good headphones, really good for the price. Highly recommended. Only ones better are the noise-cancelling for 250 dollars more.

These are excellent flat headphones used in pro studio situations. There are no enhancements to the sound quality, so you hear what is actually being produced.

Nothing but good results from these headphones. The build is great and is so comfortable to wear. This is the best sound quality you will ever get below $200. It is definitely worth the money, yes for you bass people out there, this has plenty of bass.

These headphones are a great deal. The comfort and fit of these headphones is every bit as good as headphones three times their price. The audio is good, about what youd expect for the price range. It isnt as good as some more expensive headphones I have owned, but they are notably better sounding than cheaper headphones. The hard-shell carrying case is well made as are the headphones. If you are looking for a quality pair of headphones and dont want to spend a small fortune, these are a good option.
