My only issue is the battery life is around 3 hours long with casual use. For the price its a good computer with decent specs, lightweight and pretty fast.

Nice spec

I’m not sure what everyone is complaining about, the screen view is perfectly clear from a wide angle, the battery does good, lasting me about 4 hours with normal use, and I haven’t had any slow issues. In fact, it is one of the smoothest laptops I have worked on.

Works great

I bought the previous model of this laptop the F510UA which was a disaster from the get go, the 512 is an improvement in pretty much every regard including build quality, in terms of specifications you get what you paid for, this is not a gaming laptop its designed for someone who works and might play a light game like Fortnite or League of Legends on the side, I personally use it to play some of my lighter games like Crusader Kings and Stellaris which it runs without issue.

Terrible screen

I’ve had this laptop for about 15 months and it’s stopping working not charging and not turning on and what do you know right after the warranty is up. I tried to get in touch with asus however the only ‘support’ option that I could actually talk to a human being was going to charge me $80. So I can’t even discuss my warranty without swiping my credit card again. Terrible and will not buy another asus product. When I did have the laptop it worked okay for simple web browsing but would also freeze and reload pages whenever a page had a video in the web page, it would also occasionally freeze and crash.

Bought brand new, arrived and when plugged in and turned on, screen had a bright spot. Now there is a second bright spot- both spots are getting brighter and spreading, and the computer is glitchy. Amazon gave me 100- off, they werent a fan of exchanging... So I bought a POS computer for 400- after discount of 100- and now it is malfunctioning... Riiiiight. Not the best customer service on this one. Im not very happy. Im a 40 year old mother back in full time college. Nobody has touched the screen. We JUST got it delivered yesterday at 215pm... Has not even been 24 hours. This is awful.
