I am just a casual computer surfer, so all I really want is something that lets me be online and have a few things running at the same time. This computer is perfect for all that I need. However, there are 3 things that I do not like.

Was sent the 14 inch version, had to return.

There was some stuck pixels right out of the box. Requesting a replacement will change review if fixed. Everything else is working fine. Fan is kind of loud.

Fast enough for most office/home needs. Can handle photo editing ok. Ram can be expanded. Pcie drive can be expanded. Comes with no real bundleware, only McAfee which can be uninstalled. As a user and ROG member Asus has always had decent service. If new, has Asus 1yr warranty. Very good keyboard and screen. Dont expect to play major games at 120 FPM but lower level games play nicely at 60FPM. If want real gaming laptop, open the wallet and go to a higher end system.

While the laptop is working n everything, I received a lesser 256GB SSD than the 512GB model I originally bought.

Purchased this for a gift for my teen and this is maybe the best laptop she has had before! One of her favorite features is that she can actually play her roblox on it! The keyboard lights up which is a plus for her and plus I use it time to time! Also very good price compared to the others. You will be pleased. Good for gaming and working if home.

I bought this laptop (Ryzen 7) for watching streams and gaming. I have a desktop, but I wanted something I could bring with me for when I had to dog sit or not be at my desk. Since I knew I would be gaming, I opted for the slightly beefier Ryzen 7 over the Ryzen 5. It will only net you around 7 extra fps on average, so the jump isn’t all that necessary.

I own the Asus Rog, love it as far as my own personal computer. I purchased this for my work computer and am amazed by the quality, durability, and specs of this system. Granted it came with 8GB RAM, 4GB fixed, and 4GB stick. Easy fix and installation, I purchased a G.Skill 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 SO-DIMM Laptop Memory Module (CL16) 1.20V PC4-19200 Ripjaws DDR4 Series, installed it, and now have 20GB RAM. Highly recommend this if youre looking for a great budget computer or lite gaming system, Its not a Rog, so dont expect to be able to play high-end games.
