> 24 hourThis is the best monitor I have had of the 4-5 Ive tried slim edges as shown only place I see pretty much is where they had to fit Asus. One con one button monitor if it breaks your in trouble.

> 24 hourJust hooked it up, and wow. Great image quality, looks good with the slim design, and lots of options for gamers, readers, and web browsing so you dont get that headache from looking at the monitor too long. Plug and play 100%. Images and words are in sharp focus, colors are vivid, and being an ASUS, longevity shouldnt be an issue. The stand is very stable, even with that stem. Its very rigid. Very happy with my purchase.

> 24 hourThe colors are so vibrant and the black is really black. This panel is like night and day to the monitor it replaced. Upon seeing this one I was astounded and had to check my old monitors settings as I was sure I mustve had something set wrong as the new one was just so much better. But no, the old one was doing the best it could. And so easy on the eyes. Reading, watching video, playing a game, it just looks great. One thing to note however, this is after I set it to Standard Mode under the Splendid menu. Whatever the default was when it first arrived was too oversaturated.

> 24 hourThis monitor has a terrific picture, works reliably, has a nice, steady base, and narrow edging. Price was quite competitive at the time of purchase. My only critique is that the on/off switch has multiple functions and it can be a little difficult to use.

> 24 hourAfter about 1 year of use, it randomly started showing distorted noise. The monitor is on warranty, however, the warranty process is not straightforward. Ive encountered -Many webpages which failed to load -CSRs telling my my product does not exist (when it is actually registered) -No Global Warranty support, i have to first mail my monitor to the US to have it repaired then ship it back to me at home.

> 24 hourFor a $150 1080p 27 monitor, this gets a lot of things right. Just be aware that the motion sync feature can cause major eyestrain. Pros: Good color quality Sleek design with very thin bezels Matte coating that reduces reflections HDMI cable included Lots of OSD options (with configurable profiles) Freesync (reduces tearing in games) Motion sync backlight strobing. This is usually reserved for 144Hz+ gaming monitors, but it is here, albeit gimped. Cons: Non height-adjustable stand (passable for price) OSD can be clunky to switch profiles. For some reason, ASUS includes two shortcut buttons (default is brightness and blue light filter), but does not let you use those shortcuts to switch profiles. You can however use it to switch from different presets (with splendid), but not saved profiles. This seems like an oversight to me, because instead of just two clicks to change profiles, you have to do much closer to 4 clicks. I think ASUS should have at least given the option to use the shortcuts to switch profiles. Motion Sync is a nice addition, but not as good as actual 144Hz panel (as it should be), and it can cause eyestrain. I have attatched some images of (approximately) what it looks like when it is enabled, but note that the double images get worse near the top and bottom of the screen. The double images are pretty bad, but in games, I didnt notice it that much. However, I did get eyestrain after about 15 minutes of gaming with the mode enabled because of the inherent strobing, even after having the monitor for a few days and trying to adjust to the strobing. Overall, Im happy that ASUS included the option at all, but just know that the 1MS MPRT marketing point is only valid with motion sync on which has all the aforementioned problems. The lowered brightness of the mode doesnt bother me nearly as much as the eyestrain and double images though. If you want a gaming monitor with hardware that can drive it (next gen console, gaming computer), I highly recommend just spending a little more for a 144Hz monitor, as this is priced at $150. Conclusion: This monitor is great for normal use. Its okay for gaming, but at a $150 MSRP, Id recommend spending a bit more for a proper gaming monitor with actual 1MS response times and 144Hz refresh rates.

> 24 hourI have 2 ASUS 24 mons now 7 years old. Bought these two 27 and cycled the older ones up (replacing old junk Acers). I miss option of DVI plug input, but the menu and auto-sensing are great. Much easier on the eyes. I almost dont need my cheaters anymore. STand hardware easily came off for paddle mount. Hardly an edge when butting 2 together. very satisfied.

> 24 hourUsing a display port to hdmi I’m running 1080p at 75hz. This monitor is much easier on my eyes than my regular work monitor. Easy to set up and looks great.
