Went with this one for the price and you get what you pay for. The flavor is ok, depending on what you mix it with. But the problem Ive found is that it does not mix very well and youre left with clumps, even after a rigorous shake in a BlenderBottle. Still going to use it but probably wont buy it again.

I feel like I have tried a lot of whey in my life. Whey has evolved a lot. Its not all created equal. IMO ingredients matter. Taste and consistency matter. I hate spending money on whey that no one in my house will use. I originally found this brand at WF on sale. I like chocolate PB flavored anything. It mixes pretty well with water. I mix this with coffee a lot. I do not mind the taste. I recommended this brand to people when theyre looking for a cleaner whey. I was excited to find this on a lightning deal since the retail price is on the moderate to high side. I am a repeat purchaser of this product

Just bought Ascent 100% Whey Protein Powder with the Chocolate flavor. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. The chocolate flavor tastes great and mixes well. Also, it has VERY clean ingredients which is important to me (All Natural... no artificial flavoring). It doesnt make my stomach upset like other protein powders. However, my only complaint is the packaging. Like other reviews I saw on here the top of the bag does not close properly if not at all. So make sure you have some chip bag clips handy. I will be buying again.

I love Ascent protein powder. I’ve always been really happy with the taste, consistency, etc. I just received my bag of Cookies and Cream protein powder today. It is NOT a 2 lb bag. The picture on here also says it’s not a 2 lb bag- you have to zoom in to see it. It’s on me for not looking at the fine print, but when all the other bags are 2 lbs, you would expect this one to be, as well. This is just a heads up that you are paying the same price as a 2 lb bag, but getting less product.

Ever hear the joke about La Croix? That it tastes like someone shouting the name of a fruit from another room? The Lemon Sorbet reminded me of that wisecrack - the flavor is very subtle. I was expecting more lemon flavor, I guess. And the bag wont stay zipped... I really struggle with getting it to stay closed after Ive had some. But maybe I got a bad bag. These probably arent deal breakers for a lot of folks, but its enough to keep me searching for a more suitable protein powder.

I love the consistency and how well the protein digests. Taste is ok, I wish the chocolate had a richer and slightly sweeter taste
