    My CPU was overheating, pulled it apart and removed the old heatsink and put this on in its place. Have not had anymore overheating issues. Would buy again. The old heatsink was several years old.

    Bought this for a new build but Haven’t used it for that purpose yet. I did use it in an older HP that’s liked to run 90 AT IDLE (all cleaned out, fan working, etc.) After install the laptop now runs at 75 at idle. Still too high but not dangerously so. Amazing how paste can drop it 15 degrees C. Highly recommend but also recommend a few YouTube videos to be comfortable with the job.
