Yes it is very pricey but the quality is amazing. It should last a long time and it works extremely well. Tried a cheap brand and sent it back. Just bite the bullet and get the best.

Bit heavy with magic keyboard and stiff to open

In my humble opinion, the product is perfect in all ways but one: it does not rotate enough when opened. It rotates only as far as the pictures show and no more. It would receive a five-star rating from me if it were able to rotate the iPad upwards just a bit more so use of the Apple Pencil would be easier.

It’s worth the money

Easy on/off so you can decide when you want it but for me, it opened up new vistas of working with my iPad.

This is a premium keyboard case for Apple devices. The keyboard has a great, tactile response to finger presses, and the keys light up when connected to iPad. The track made is responsive and iPad uses a different style of cursor that is intuitive and simple to use. There are other options that have these features that are probably more protective and less expensive than the Magic Keyboard, but Apple designed this for a laptop replacement device; similar to a Microsoft Surface. Here’s a story about how “protective” this case is; I was sitting on the couch with my iPad in its Magic Keyboard and it fell off my lap and cracked the screen. The magnets are securing the iPad to the keyboard are good, but it is not fool proof.

I was excited to receive Apples iPad keyboard w/ trackpad. I used it for a couple days, and it has a lot of PROs. However it didnt take long to realize its absolutely not worth the cost - there are other options on Amazon that are much nicer, for a fraction of the cost.

I really wanted to love this keyboard. I buy every new version of the Pro iPad. I always have the pencil and keyboard cover. Truth is, I seldom use the cover as a keyboard. When I do, it is more than fine. When I use the iPad w pencil it’s usually to markup word docs, draw, and sketch. I find this most comfortable with a naked tablet. I moat use an iPad as a content consumption device. Again—I find a naked tablet is light and super convenient.

This keyboard makes the IPad way more worth it. The keys are soft, the backlight isn’t too much and the charge through function is pretty good. I thought the slight tilt wouldn’t be enough but it’s perfect.
