> 3 dayI’ve never wanted my iPad Pro 11” to be a laptop. I love that it’s a tablet with all of the great features that a tablet brings, but now and then I do need to use it as a more traditional work device and for this it needs laptop type elements. This keyboard totally makes that happen. Its typing experience is really good - yes it’s a tad on the snug side but I got to used to that really quickly and the scissor type keys are way more comfortable to type on than my 2016 MacBook Pro which has the noisy butterfly keys. I haven’t missed the function or escape keys, but I rarely used them on my MB - besides this device has a touch screen and lots of other ways to quit or change volume etc so you’re not missing out, just doing things differently. The TrackPad is also superb, intuitive and despite the small size so easy to use and creates a very laptop type experience, making it much easier to position the cursor when you’re working on documents or editing web forms. Some of the TrackPad gestures take getting used to but again they are super intuitive and I picked them up very quickly. The device feels premium and well made though I suspect, like the simple smart cover, the rubberised material will attract dirt and smudges over time. The keyboard case is very sturdy and I have no problem typing on my lap on the sofa or at my desk or dining table, with the magnets holding it firmly in place. The balance of the screen and case is such that it does not tip over at all, so it’s perfect for typing pretty much anywhere. The screen angle is a tiny bit limited, so you might want a bit more flex if you’re lying down or on an airline/train seat, but it’s by no means a deal breaker for me. The combined weight is substantial but no more than my old 13” MB Air so I’m fine with that as the tiny form factor still ensures it fits easily in my bag. You can’t fold the keyboard flat like the smart one, so if you just want to use the iPad as a tablet then you need to remove it from the case, but this is simple to do.

> 3 day...and after 4 months, two keys are stuck. Apple continues to fumble with their keyboard designs.

Greater than one weekI am actually rating this keyboard a little higher than the actual Ipad itself. It presents a fun experience similiar to my Apple Iic keyboard from 1984 or so. The size fits the Ipad air perfectly and is ultra responsive.

> 3 dayWhite keyboard stains easily even with extremely careful use. To be fair apple does state that color transfer might occur, but as someone that meticulously maintains my accessories i still managed to get a small stain on the keyboard. It will not wipe clean either.

> 3 dayThis is my husbands toy! He loves it. He no longer has to touch the ipad screen which was important to him. The keyboard lights up, which he loves. He is over the moon.

29-10-2024This keyboard is the only Apple product Ive ever wanted to return immediately. As a keyboard it feels nice, but at the widest viewing angle, the screen covers the top row of keys, so its not even a slam dunk as a keyboard. As a case, its absolute garbage. Doesnt provide any protection for your iPad on the edges, the pencil is just dangling off the edge. If you want to use this as a tablet AT ALL you have to take it out of the case because the case opens less than 90 degrees. It basically only has two settings 75 degrees and closed. Literally ANY other keyboard is a better option.

> 3 dayReally intuitive keyboard to use, it makes you feel like you are actually using a MacBook and not an ipad, really useful for office jobs and for students to take note.
