Apple MacBook Pro (13-Inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage) - Space Gray (Previous Model)

It randomly stops playing sound which forces me to reboot/restart the entire computer. It also rejects my external hard drives. (I’m on my 3rd hard drive!)

I am writing this review based off of my usage of this laptop, and also wanted to wait a few months of using it before I reviewed. This laptop is amazing and Im still thrilled with the purchase. It remains extremely fast, extremely easy to use, and the battery life has held up very well. I use this computer at work (Im a firefighter in a large city) for my online Masters program coursework, and also use for personal projects and just general usage. It supplements my 2012 iMac quite well and I find myself using this laptop more and more often over the iMac. I don think I have had a single issue with this computer. Very easy setup, the Touch Bar/menu bar is pretty neat with autocomplete and suggestions. I also love the TouchID for passwords and signing in. There is good space and if you have an iCloud and a lot of documents or multimedia you will have no issues with space on this computer. I couldnt be happier and likely next time will buy a larger screen laptop to replace my iMac when it becomes obsolete. Speakers are loud. Only negative is that I cant stand that OFFICE 365 is not part of this package. I dont know anybody that likes using the Apple alternatives like numbers for work. Overall though this is an amazing buy.

I had a MacBook Air for many years and decided to replace it after someone spilled water on it. (As a side note, dont let your child use your MacBook.) This is such a great laptop. Its lightweight, small, but the keyboard isnt too compact. The battery lasts almost all day. I do wish the charging cord was longer and that it was magnetic like my Air. I also hear the fan come on pretty frequently and then it tries to tell me pretty frequently that it cant find the mouse when there is no mouse.... But other than that, I love it.

Had this computer for 8 months. Been generally happy with it!

My daughter used this for homeschooling and opened it one day as usual. Her thumb made a little crack on the lower right inside the screen and the screen completely went black. We cant use it at all anymore. We went to the Apple store where they informed us it would be $500 to fix. This computer is too delicate for a 15 year old girl to use for homeschooling, so not a good purchase for us.
