AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

This CPU has may DAW running like a champ, lowers video rendering time from 8 to 5 hours. My DAW sounds cleaner with half the memory (Only 4 slots on motherboard, had 8 with my old MB and i7 6800). Will increase memory with the new 32GB ram modules that just came out. But this CPU is so good, the thread monitors show less core activity than my old processor when the music was stopped and the audio engine just idling. Dont buy this CPU from the ripoff people who charge more than $499. Pre-order it and you may get it within the next two weeks. It may take about two months to make a new batch of these 7nm chips.

I used this product for gaming. If I would of known their was a better cpu as the 3950 I would of bought that one instead with more cores.

I was running a R7 2700 overclocked to 4ghz in a workstation for scientific data analysis (next generation sequencing). I thought it was a pretty good setup. I had been thinking about the new Ryzen 3000 cpus but figured the upgrade probably wasnt worth it. Couldnt stop wondering if itd speed up my work so I finally just did it. And am I glad I did!

Ive been using Intels processor for quite a while and gave AMD a try, not disappointed in the least, using this for 3D rendering and some gaming, paired with a closed loop cooler to keep temps low, great processor, up until now, had not disappointed me with anything I usually run, test renderings with Blender/Cycles have been great.

Pros:

Did not come with the Wraith Prism LED Cooler. Just a stock AMD fan.

Es un procesador muy caro, pero para lo que ofrece me parece un precio justo. Tal vez no es el mejor en relación calidad precio, ya que hay gamas más bajas a esta, pero si buscas lo top y quieres lo mejor de lo mejor para juegos, es de las mejores opciones que hay. Solamente que yo no elegiría este procesador para jugar (si es lo que buscas), no necesitas gastar tanto dinero en un procesador, pero por otro lado lo elegiría para productividad, como producción de vídeo, audio, diseño, etc. Estoy muy contento con los resultados que he obtenido.

If I could give this product more than 5 stars I definitely would. The amount I paid for this processor ($439.00 USD) was beyond reasonable for the performance of this product and the fact that Intel JUST dropped their 10th gen series CPU and this specific processor is better by the numbers under professional work loads just shows the direction that AMD is going in the right direction. I cant speak specifically on AMD’s GPU’s quite yet but in terms of CPU, AMD has DEFINITELY earned themselves a new loyal customer.

très performant par rapport au intel que jai connu il ya pas photo. Et un 12 cœurs et 24 treads, fallait le faire.
